WhatsApp To Allow Access To Multiple Devices With One Account

WhatsApp would soon be a multi-platform service. This would reportedly allow users to activate their WhatsApp account on to multiple devices at once. The platform would also include Universal Windows Platform (UWP).

This means, users can log into the same account on their Apple iPhone or iPad which have been logged onto their Android device, without having to uninstall the app. It will work similar to Facebook and Instagram which allow users access to their accounts from different devices.

Google Launches Gallery Go Lighter Version of Google Photos

Gallery Go is the latest app to join Google’s Go-branded apps that work without requiring too much data or storage. Unveiled at the search giant’s third Google for Nigeria event. Gallery Go is now available in the Play Store for all Android devices running version 8.1 (Oreo) or above. Gallery Go was designed to work offline, to help you manage your photos using less data. And at just 10 MB, the app won’t slow down your phone and leaves space to store more memories.

Google revealed that Gallery Go is designed to work offline and uses machine learning to automatically organise photos. The company will likely be pushing it as an alternative to Google Photos app for under-powered phones.

Facebook is coming together with 27 organizations around the world to start the non-profit Libra Association and create a new currency called Libra.
